ALDERFARN II
16hh (2001), coloured stallion. This promising warmblood stallion is a product of the trakehner stallion, Elvis, son of Karabin who was a highly promising performance stallion, producing many top performance horses. Out of a sports horse graded mare, dual registered CHAPS & SHB(GB).
ALDERFARN II was granted a temporary license with Chaps in Autumn 2004 and will be put before them again to hopefully gain full graded status in 2005. He was the only 3 year old put forward for grading and did exceptionally well, excelling in his conformation and jumping marks and flying through his vetting. He also passed his BSJA assessment. He is a very striking young stallion with superb conformation, markings and paces and shows great potential loose jumping, clearing over 1.40M with ease. He has a supremely pretty head and a lovely and kind temperament. He is very well mannered under saddle, and will be starting his performance career in 2005.

DRUMCROSS SPURS
‘DRUMCROSS SPURS’ was bred by Con Stanley from Kells, Co Meath in 2002, from an unnamed Apache Warrior mare. (Apache Warrior stands at the Carrickatee Stud, co.Monaghan.)
‘Crossdrum Spurs’ is by Stetsen TB, and stands in Oldcastle, Co.Meath. He qualified for the Prestigous ‘Young Irelander’ Competition in his younger days and is a very reputable sire in Ireland for competition and riding horses with superb temperaments.
‘Drumcross Spurs’ is a very neat, compact and correct horse with bone, substance and great character. He has a very balanced and relaxed attitude to life and is proving very easy to ride and train.
We imported him over from Ireland in October 2004. He had his one and only outing to date , the ‘Sussex Spring Show’ at the South of England showground, he took first in his age class and he then stood Reserve Champion In hand beating many mature ridden horses. That same season he had his first year at stud.
All his mares, some plain and some coloured, and even one from Ireland, from 2005 foaled successfully and easily and all bar one were well marked and coloured.
He compliments many different types of mares and he passes his beautiful coat markings to most!
As he is such a young sire, his progeny have yet to get out and about, so please, watch this space…!
