Driving horse wanted for long term loan permanent loan or loan with view to buy. Bombproof traffic proof for competant novice must be currently driving 14hh up chunky type prefered.
Experienced home living out all year with shelter. No vices or health problems. Any age sex colour but no dominant mares or stallions. As have a mare and foal already. Child proof, loose dog proof. Must have breaks and easy to handle for farrier harnessing etc.
To come with cart and harness will be fantastic.

Last known whereabouts when he moved to York, North Yorkshire August 2007.
Now been sold on around November/December 2007

The Fforest Uchaf Horse & Pony Centre is a registered Charity to provide a safe haven for horses & ponies who have suffered through cruelty, neglect, ignorance or find themselves in need through other causes. Some of the ponies we care for have special problems and are unlikely to ever leave the centre. Please, Help Us, Help Them!
One Day there will be a secure home for the Welsh Pit Ponies and other needy Horses & Ponies in Wales.
It will be a large grassland farm with a good range of buildings for old bones on cold winter nights, mature trees to shade them from the midday sun, a natural spring feeding a babbling brook to drink long & cool from on long summer days. It will be easily accessible by road and public transport, with good facilities for all people to enjoy meeting the ponies. The ponies will come to forget their harsh work-life and enjoy their well-earned retirement for the rest of their days.
